Houston… here I come!

Thank you all for the comments about what you like to listen to while quilting.  I enjoyed reading all of them.  I am going to have to try the audio books.

I am currently getting ready to go to Houston and hopefully the rain won’t pose a problem for getting in.  At the beginning of last week, I set a goal of finishing a quilt before I left and I am proud to say, I did it!  Here is a picture…. this is one for my book…. thank you to Barb and Mary  for donating the fabric from their new fabric line…. Lavish.  They are debuting the fabric at Market as we speak in the Island Batik booth!

I am happy with how it turned out.  I challenged myself not to use feathers and I actually did not use any.  Yeah!!!

I am leaving for the airport in a bit and can’t wait to meet up with all of you!  This is my first year teaching at the show and am looking forward to it.  I will be setting up my classroom tomorrow around 10am if anyone is free and wants to help load machines for my Monday class.  🙂

See you all soon.

  1. It’s Incredible! I’d be willing to bet that you’re an awesome teacher. Don’t forget to have some fun, while you’re there, you deserve it.
